TOUR ROWING FOR SMALL BOATS, SPECIAL BOATS, SULKAVA LONG BOATS AND CANOES (starts from Rowing stadium)
Thursday-Friday at 10.00 and 11.00 o´clock,
Saturday-Sunday at 9.30 and 10.00 o´clock
In the tour rowing it will be rowed approximately 70km during the two days. The tour goes around the isle of Partalansaari and it starts from the village of Sulkava (the rowing stadium) and continues to – Hakovirta – Kietävälä Varviranta and back to the village of Sulkava (the rowing stadium).
On the first day it will be rowed approximately half of the journey all the way to the great camping area of Varviranta, where it will be the overnight stay. At the camping area there will be organised little evening entertainment. Within the area it is possible to use your own tent and the tents and all the other equipment will be transferred from the starting point to the overnight place by the organiser. After the night the equipment will be returned to the starting point again by the organiser. The rowing continues on both days, Friday and Sunday, at 8am and the rowers are needed to be back at the rowing stadium by 2pm.
On the tour rowing the model, material and the type of the seat of the boats or canoes is free.

single rowing at 8.30 o´clock,
bi-stroke at 8.45 o´clock,
couple rowing and special boats at 9.00 o´clock
In all the small boat categories on Saturday it will be rowed around the Partalansaari app. 60km. The route starts from Hakovirta and continues to Kietävälä and returns to Sulkava village (rowing stadium). All the participants will be timed and in all the categories (excluding the special boats) the best ones will be rewarded. The rowers who participate in the FM-rows will be awarded with FM- medals approved by the Finnish Canoe and Rowing society.

Friday at 16.00 o´clock

At the long boats’ night row it will be rowed app. 60km around the Partalansaari. The race starts from Hakovirta and continues to Kietävälä and finish at Sulkava village (rowing stadium).
Both night rows will be racing rows and on the Saturday row it will be resolved the champion in both categories: men and women. The rowers who participate in the FM-rows will be rewarded with FM- medals approved by the Finnish Canoe and Rowing society. From the Friday participants five best teams will be rewarded and from the Saturday participants three best teams will be rewarded by the organiser. The teams need to be at the finish line by 1am.

At the long boats’ Saturday row it will be rowed for the first time ever 70km nonstop. The route starts from the Sulkava village (rowing stadium) and continues to Hakovirta – Kietävälä Varviranta – Sulkava village (rowing stadium). Five best teams will be rewarded.

Sunday at 11.00 o´clock
The Hakovirta 20KM is a laid-back and relaxed rowing opportunity for small and long boats as well as for canoes. It is meant as a familiarisation to the sceneries along the rowing route and to the atmosphere. The tour starts from the Sulkava village (rowing stadium) – Hakovirta – Sulkava village (rowing stadium). All the participants will be timed and among all the participants will be drawn prizes. This category is not a competition.
BREAKING THE RULES
If the crew took part in Sulkava Rowing Race in any starts with a boat which is against the rules the performance of that crew will be disqualified.
