You can rent Sulkava long boats
The event organiser, Sulkava Society ry, rents long boats for the rowing event. The boats will be ready at the starting point and after the race those can be left at the finish line.
For the rowing tours (Thurs-Fri and Sat-Sun) the rent for the sliding seat long boat is 735,00 € (inc. VAT 23%) and the rent for the fixed seat long boat is 630,00 € (inc. VAT 23%). The tour is 70 km and it includes the overnight stay.
For the Friday and Saturday night rowing and for the Saturday day rowing the rent for the sliding seat long boat is 645,00 € (inc. ALV 23%) and the rent for the fixed seat long boat is 555,00 € ( inc. VAT 23%).
At the night row the tour is 60 km and at the Saturday day row the tour is app. 70 km and it will be rowed without stopping.
The Hakovirta 20KM on Sunday will not be a competition. The start and the finish will be both at the rowing stadium. The rent for the both types of long boats (fixed and sliding seats) will be 200 € (inc. VAT 23%).
Because of the high demand of the long boat rentals we will be charging a booking fee (half of the long boat rent) in February 2012 and the rest of the rent during the April 2012. Therefore the final confirmation for the long boat rental should be done by the due date of the invoice, which is 14 days since posting the invoice. Initial booking is recommended to be done as soon as possible. For the invoicing we need exact billing information.
Your rented boat will be ready at the starting point latest two hours before the start. At the racing categories the rental boats are fairly new boats, which are needed to be handled with care. In case you want your firm/ sponsor ‘s advert onto your boats those are not to be attached straight to the boats but those can be e.g. to be attached to a separate piece and tie it onto the boat. Other teams will be using the same boats so please clean the boats after the usage and leave the boats in an appropriate manner.
